To answer your questions (hopefully in order), I would suspect you can
receive information from the Employment Security Commission on that
particular demographic and the related employment. Insofar as what Self
Help offers, in the past we have had down payment assistance money
earmarked for single parent households. We still do offer down payment
assistance from another source, but it's not as specialized however does
meet our mission. Lastly, Self Help could assist if you wanted to set up
a meeting where we can come and present how to secure a business loan.
If you desire technical assistance advice pertaining to business plans
and other aspects of business, I would suggest IMED( Institute of
Minority Economic and Development). They offer training in all aspects
